Human Development and Health
Human Development and Health (Master's and Doctoral Degrees)
Program Description
The Graduate Program in Human Development and Health (PG-PDS) has been in operation since its creation in 2006, with consistent and relevant research experience accumulated over the years from the now extinct PPG-Psychology of the University of Brasilia (UnB). The PG-PDS axes are configured from Developmental Psychology and School Psychology and responds to the demands of scientific knowledge production and teacher-researcher training for acting in Higher Education, as well as in other scientific activity bodies in Brazil and abroad.
In the international scenario, the Program has been operating since its creation. Academic partnerships have been established with research groups in countries such as the United States, Canada, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Argentina, Colombia and Chile. In the consolidation of the work of the research groups, there is the inclusion of teachers and students in national discussions in the areas of Development, Education and Health in Brazil. Also, there has been a continuous movement of internationalization, started more than 10 years ago, with two-way mobility of research professors and with the participation of postdoctoral fellows, doctoral and master's candidates and undergraduate students. These international shareholders have participated in joint study meetings, as well as sandwich PhDs (PDSE), joint PhDs, postdoctoral stays and technical visits, as well as full joint publications.
